This is a sensational album and the first ever from legendary solo dancer and choreographer Greta Lindholm. Greta, born 1941, is known worldwide for her groundbreaking and unique dance performances and special use of "rhythm voice" combined with dance. For the last two years, she has worked with Karl Jonas and his one man record label Sing a song fighter. They have located and gone through her tapes, films and cassettes and transferred her works into digital. It is a musical treasure and an important document of Swedish dance and music history.

From the first preformance in 1967 to 2007, Greta was one of the most exploring solo dancer and choreographer in Sweden. She developed her own style of dance continually, combined with voice and feet rhythms. She toured the world and gave performances in India, Mexico, Italy, France and Japan. She collaborated, among others, with Afro-American singer Eric Bibb, bass player Red Mitchell and Swedish singer Anita Livstrand.
In connection with her invitations Greta travelled in places like northern Norway, Rarotonga, Ghana, Senegal, Caribbean and India.
During one of her longer stays in India, Greta recorded her voice compositions in Rebenke studio. That’s what we have here on this retrospective of an artist always going (dancing) her own way.

This is a co-release with Italian label Black Sweat Records. Out on vinyl and cd 10th of June and on digital platforms the 23rd of June 2021.
