The latest full-length album by Swedish artist/producer Karl-Jonas Winqvist and his Blood Music.
As before with the previous Blood Music albums we get us some wonderful and eclectic mix of leftfield pop, kraut, americana, psych and singer/songwriter ballads. Music critics have tried (and failed) to compare Karl-Jonas Winqvist to artists like Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna), Bill Callahan, Daniel Johnston and even Neutral Milk Hotel and David Byrne. Guests on the album include the sisters from First Aid Kit, Mariam Wallentin (Wildbirds and Peacedrums, Mariam the believer )and Fredrik Björling (ex-Dungen drummer who is bringing some magic drumming to the closing track). Totally recommended! The vinyl edition is released on 180 gram vinyl with beautiful handmade artwork. Limited, numbered edition of 300 copies. Includes CD.
